Colleen Dreicer is thrilled to collaborate with Janine after spending 12 long years in litigation. Together, they utilize Colleen's expertise to aid schools, hospitals, government agencies, and workplaces to tackle issues related to sexual harassment, bullying, bias, retaliation, and discrimination. Colleen is trained in trauma-based interview techniques and is well-versed in conducting Title IX investigations.
Colleen started her career as a supervisory investigator with Child Protected Services (CPS) in Arizona. While at CPS, she worked on a joint task force with the local police department investigating high profile abuse and neglect cases, child fatalities, and allegations of sexual abuse. She was trained in the art of forensic interviewing, and interviewed hundreds of children and adults both independently, in the field, and at the Child Advocacy Center. She also testified in numerous court cases as an expert witness.
In 2008, Colleen left CPS to attend law school as the University of Arizona. She then relocated to Brooklyn, New York in 2011, where she ran a successful litigation firm since 2012. Colleen has represented over 700 litigants - adults and children - in a variety of criminal and civil matters in lower and supreme courts and at the Appellate Division. She is a passionate advocate for due process, advancing her client’s positions through a thorough understanding of the law as it applies to the unique situation of the client. She is committed to ensuring her client’s voices are heard, which she does by gaining an intricate understanding of their story, which she finds to be as important as the law governing the issue.
During her leisure time, Colleen indulges in the company of her three Golden Retrievers and two delightful daughters, exploring scenic trails, experimenting with new cuisines, and beginning her day with a steaming cup of coffee while admiring the sunrise.
